How do search engines work?

Search engines plan on finding all we need. Think that you are in a place that you don’t know and you need to shop. Who would you ask the shop center’s placeto? You’d ask to someone who knows the place, wouldn’t you? In the same way, Search Engines are the conversants of internet. They provide the information that you are looking for by choosing the data from their databases. And show the results form the best to the worst.

For example, you asked the place of the nearest shopping center of good quality. Accordingly having no distance term on internet, search engine will show you the shopping center of good quality. But, how does it decide which the best one is? Who is the best in the eyes of Search Engines?

Lets keep going with the same example,

How could you describe a good shopping center?

Having a long past, having enough experience, recommendation from other people, having a good looking from inside and outside, having boards inside to make you find your way easily, having benchs inside to make you find your product easily, keeping the products in a row, having no detergents next to fruits and so on… Search engines behave in the same way.

Search engine pages are the most visited pages of internet. And they send clean and trusty visitors to other websites. The best and the most famous search engine is Google. Google has to be your best friend on internet. Because it sends the most number of visitors to a website. And also it provides some different free of charge services.

In the next post, lets discuss about the directories. Please write your valuable comments on the post.
